June Patch

I notice it says that soldier stake minimally more damage shooting down than up. Is this still true after the June 19, 2008 Patch removed a 40% self-damage reduction? AFAIK shooting below you hurts you less than into the wall. Terr 08:23, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Damage

Whats up with these weird damage values, it says the medium range lowest damage is 50, yet the highest long range damage is 60, how can it be higher then the medium range damage?? The Unbeholden 16:13, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, I think its taking into account the splash damage, So I think its fairly accurate. so it suggests that the splash damage of a medium range rocket can be as low as 50, and the direct hit from a long range rocket can be as high as 60. The Unbeholden 18:59, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Critical hit damage is wrong, the damage can be less then 270 according to splash damage rules. Which means its possible for a critical hit to have a damage range. Trying to come up with a accurate damage range will be top priority for the http://www.tf2wiki.net/wiki/Grenade_launcher article and the http://www.tf2wiki.net/wiki/Sticky_grenade_launcher. Good news, found a old test done by Rockn-rolld, the damage range based on Dec 24th 2007 testing goes as low as 140 for a critical rockets splash damage. This test will be regarded as the best one we've got. We can update this article if we find a more recent one. The Unbeholden 13:37, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
