TF2classic(also called tf2c,tfc2,tfc mod) is a SourceMod plugin and server modification for Team Fortress 2. It was originally developed by CrancK in 2009. Development has been continued by chicken of the Pwndora's Box community since 2010, and is exclusive to Pwndora's Box.

Overview

The goal of TF2classic is to try to bring back elements of QuakeWorld Team Fortress and Team Fortress Classic.

Commands

!tfc: Brings up a list of commands for the TF2c mod

bind key +nade1: Allows you to throw your Primary Grenade

bind key +nade2: Allows you to throw your Special Grenade

bind key +nade3: Allows you to throw your Special2 Grenade


Note: When binding grenade keys,replace 'key' with a specified key. Example: bind f +gren1


Weapon Modifications

This plugin modifies almost all of the weapons available in TF2. Below is a table that shows all the weapon modifications. Needs completed.

Grenades

TF2c has a feature called grenades. There are three categories: Frag grenades, Special grenades, and Tertiary grenades. Only the Sniper and Medic have Tertiary grenades in the latest release.

The Scout had a Frag Grenade in previous versions, but it was removed due to balance issues.

The older version of the Spy's Gas Grenade acted much like the Scout's Flash Grenade, but was far more disorienting.

It is possible to perform a Grenade Jump as a Spy using a Frag Grenade and the Dead Ringer. The Dead Ringer activating upon detenation makes you take minimal damage.

Class Modifications

There are class modifications available in this mod that can be accessed through chat commands. Currently there are only 2 classes with full set modifications.

Combat Medic: The Medic's primary weapon is changed to a Super Shotgun !shotgun : Turns on Combat Medic

Combat Spy: The Spy is equipped with a Super Shotgun instead of a Sapper, the default knife is forced, health is boosted to 135 from 125, and the cloak regenerates extremely fast and depletes just as fast. !combatspy : Kills you and turns on Combat Spy
