Party Mode is the successor to the birthday mode in Team Fortress Classic and is activated on servers that have disabled blood. It's intended use is to celebrate a player's birthday, festive occasions or simply for fun.







Enabling Party Mode

Party mode can be enabled by setting tf_birthday 1 in your Server.cfg


Changes in Party Mode

  • Every player wears a party hat.
  • When shot, you bleed balloons.
  • If you are blown to pieces, you explode into streamers and confetti instead of blood, and your gibs turn into presents.
  • Whenever you achieve a critical hit, you hear party horns, champagne poppers and people cheering and clapping.
