- A rapier was made as a complementary addition to this hat, but the rapier, as of now, has not been added to the game.
- "Chapeau" is the French word for hat. As referenced in the description, it is not a true chapeau.
- Despite the Spy "hailing from an indeterminate region of France", the design of the Charmer's Chapeau has its origins in medieval England.
- The hat somewhat resembles the hat of Puss in Boots (from the Shrek series) in the way that it shares a pink belt
