General Description
There are two buildings, the first and last of which hold the intelligence. The middle building present in the control point version has been completely removed, and the number of trains to contend with in its wake has been reduced to only one. The map is symmetrical from both sides of the train track.
There is only one working train track going through the central platform.
It should be noted, that, while there are features that have been added and removed from the map, TF2's CTF Well is more true to the original TFC map.
The respawn rooms in the CTF version of Well, do not move up unlike the ones in the earlier released CP version. The respawn rooms in the CTF version are only found where the second Control Point would be, in other words not far from the entrance to the team's base.

Goal
The goal in this map is to capture the enemy's intelligence briefcase (intel) from their base, and return it to the location of your team's intel to score a point.
Locations
Common Strategies
- Spies and Scouts work wonders here. Due to the sparse nature of the map, a spy can sap defensive sentries while the scouts dart past to pick up the intel.
