The Bushwacka is a community weapon for the sniper released as part of the Mann-Conomy update. The weapon came as 1 of 4 items in the ‘CROC-O-STYLE’ Pack released by nrek. This weapon crits whenever it would normally mini-crit. For example, covering an enemy player in Jarate would cause the enemy player to receive mini-crits when taking damage from conventional weapons, however, the bushwacka damage applies normal crits in their place.
Set Bonus
As part of the Croc-o-style Kit, the full set confers the wearer an immunity to death by headshots. This means that as long as you have 2 or more health, any head-shots by the Ambassador, the Huntsman, or the Sniper Rifle will only bring you down to 1 health. However, if you have only 1 health, a head-shot will still kill you. To gain the effect of this set, you must equip:
- The Sydney Sleeper (Primary)
- Darwin's Danger Shield (Secondary)
- The Bushwacka (Melee)
- Ol' Snaggletooth (Hat)

Trivia
- The caption supplied with the original publicity poster which read "Now THAT's a knife", is a reference to the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee in which the australlian crocodile hunter Michael J "Crocodile" Dundee pulls out a large bowie knife and says "Now THAT's a knife".
- The Bushwacka's appearance is closer to a hunting knife rather than a Kukri.
