The Bombing Run is a headwear item for the Scout. The item was released in the Mann_Co._Update . It appears as a brown leather aviator's helmet. This item is one of the community-created items in Team Fortress 2.
This headwear can be obtained from a Supply Crate
Trivia
- The Bombing Run is styled after the helmets that were worn by aviators fighting in World War II.
- This item was originally intended to be worn by the Soldier as well and was known as the Tanker's Helm.
- The item's description may be a reference to Kamikaze Pilots. Kamikazes were Japanese World War II pilots who dove their explosives-packed planes into Allied ships, killing themselves in an attempt to destroy the ship.
- This hat was used by many pilots and bombers in World War 2, consequently being called the bombing run.
